Synopsis:
Kim Sam Soon is chubby, unemployed and not your average beauty. She even just got dumped by her perfidious boyfriend of three years on Christmas Eve! She followed her boyfriend to a hotel and finds him with another woman. He confronts her and feeling all saddened she goes to the bathroom and cries her heart out. While in the bathroom stall, with loud cries and dark tears filled with mascara running down her cheeks she hears someone knocking on the door. Disgruntled after a few knocks she flings open the door to realize it was a man and also that she is in the men抯 room. This young handsome man is Hyun Jin Heon. He tells her to get over it in such an arrogant way, that you can抰 help to think he抯 a jerk, but he抯 too cute so you just can抰 hate him. Hehe?/p>

Samsoon is an experienced pastry chef and is now job hunting. Through unexpected and funny encounters with Jin Heon, the owner of Bon A Petit restaurant, she ends up working for him. In addition to Samson抯 extreme imaginations, the bickering and humorous scenes between the two are just ridiculously funny. Soon Jin Heon starts a contract relationship with Samsoon, and naturally they start to develop real feelings for each other. It took a while for Jin Heon to realize it, but when he did, it was bittersweet for both of them because of Hee Jin.

Jin Heon抯 ex girlfriend Hee Jin returns to Korea from America adamant about getting back together with Jin Heon.Hee Jin抯 return adds another obstacle to Samsoon抯 and Jin Heon抯 relationship aside from his disagreeing mother. Along Hee Jin抯 side is the dashing and irresistible Dr. Henry Kim. The relationship complicates now because Jin Heon obviously has feelings for Samsoon, but what is he to do about Hee Jin? And what about Dr. Kim? Will his patience finally win Hee Jin抯 love or will he just continue waiting by her side?

-The superb chemistry between KSS and JHJ.
-There are no bad guys. It's almost impossible to hate anyone in the show.
-Dr. Henry Kim (ehhehehe)
-KSS's mother and sister provide many comedic scenes.
-The pig doll. I find it very cute.
-Everyone in the show is actually pretty good looking.

Most Memorable/Funniest Scenes:

1. Kim Sam Son's imaginations. (Every single one of them were funny卬o joke!)
2. KSS's dance routine at the welcome party (the imaginary and actual one).
3. JHJ waiting for SS at the top of Mt. Halla.
4. KSS's struggle with changing her name is hilarious.
5. In the cable car with KSS eating chocolate and JHJ pouring her soup because it was her birthday. That was very sweet.
6. All the scenes when they try to further their relationship intimately. JHJ's desires being rejected by KSS because of her weight and the lack of 損rotection?is just too cute.
7. What people of different blood types will do when they run out of toilet paper in the bathroom? (Watch it and you will understand?

Performances:

Kim Sam Soon (Kim Sun Ah) - Best Actress, Hands Down! Exceptional performance. You can really tell she immersed herself into Kim Samsoon's character. Every little detail in the acting was so meticulously portrayed. She was cute and funny, but she didn't look like she tried too hard at it. Everything about the character was very natural. I don't think any other actress could have done a better job than her. 

Hyun Jin Heon aka Samsik (Hyun Bin) - This guy is just too adorable. He does look very young compared to KSS, but their natural chemistry compensates for their age gap. He can look serious when he's working, but just the same when he is needed to be cute, he can be just that. Like when he said 搒kinship?is a good thing. His facial expression was just like a kid. Ahhaah?

Yoo Hee Jin (Jung Ryeo Won ) - JRW fits the role very well. Being that it's her first performance she did a decent job. She looks so pretty and fragile like a porcelain doll and that's just exactly what her character calls for.

Henry Kim (Daniel Henney) - Honestly, his character does not require much acting experience, but what can I say? He was just so strikingly handsome and sweet that it melts any girls' heart.

Comments:

The series reflect the same problem that many women face in this day and age梘rowing older and yet still not married. Believe it or not, there are a lot of SamSoon's out there and hopefully this series will provide some sort of hope that they will one day find someone like Samsoon did.

Hurry and get your hands on it! It's a simple love story, but the characters have so much depth and realistic elements that it seriously mirrors many people's lives in real life. Definitely worth watching!
